Your team
You will be working with a distributed Agile teams based out of either India, with a team size of 5-15 people that develops a suite of applications for Asset Management Group Technology. These systems are the bank's backbone; we also are expected to work closely with their Operations team partners to provide global solutions for varied challenging business requirements.
Our team cares deeply about continuous improvement of the development process. We use Continuous Integration for quick feedback cycles and are currently working on achieving Continuous Delivery. Collaboration is highly valued and pair programming is customary practice.
We use Scrum and apply Agile practices. You will have Software Craftsmanship at the heart of what you do, striving for quality and efficiency through automation.
We value continuous learning and encourage attendance at Conferences (QCon, Devoxx, etc) and internal Hackathons and Developer Meetups. There is also considerable formal and informal opportunity to learn how a bank works.
Your expertise
- 7 years of experience in frontend development using frameworks ideally React JS, Bootstrap, Node JS and NPM
- extensive experience in CSS3, HTML5, webpack
- experience in front-end technologies like Redux, JavaScript, typescript and Responsive Web Design
- experience of building responsive interfaces and development of web applications
- experience with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
- proven ability to produce secure, stable, and good performing code and write optimized, clean code
