Position Title: UI Designer

Required Experience and Skills:
- 58 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design projects.
- 23 years of experience specifically in data visualization design, dashboard creation, or analytics product interfaces.
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum product development environments.
- Hands-on experience collaborating with engineering and data teams to implement complex interactive UI elements and charts.
- Exposure to designing for multi-platform environments (web, tablet, and mobile).
- Proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design.
- Ability to create design systems, reusable components, and style guides for large-scale applications.
- Strong understanding of information hierarchy, visual balance, and user flow optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end UI/UX design process from concept, research, and wireframes to interactive prototypes and final design delivery.
- Create and maintain design systems, reusable UI components, and style guides in Figma for consistency across all products.
- Design intuitive and visually compelling data visualizations and dashboards, transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of charting frameworks and libraries (e.g., D3.js or similar) to support interactive data storytelling.
- Translate business goals and technical requirements into seamless, accessible, and high-performing interfaces.
- Collaborate with data and engineering teams to ensure accurate integration and responsive rendering of charts and analytics components.
- Utilize data analytics, user feedback, and behavioural insights to refine and optimize user experience continuously.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams in Agile/Scrum settings for iterative delivery.
- Advocate for accessibility (WCAG standards) and inclusive design best practices.
- Mentor junior designers, review their work, and help establish UI/UX best practices organization wide.
- Ensure cross-platform design coherence for web, mobile, and tablet interfaces.
- Stay updated on emerging UI/UX trends, AI-assisted design tools, and industry best practices.
