UI Automation Tester Job Description

Job Brief: We are looking for a skilled UI Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our user interfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Collaborate with developers and QA analysts to ensure test coverage and resolve issues.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected by new changes.
• Maintain and update test automation frameworks.
• Provide feedback on software usability and functionality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in UI automation testing.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
