UAV TEST PILOT FIXED-WING
Job Description
We are looking for a UAV Test Pilot for fixed-wing drone operations. The candidate will be responsible for conducting flight tests, validating UAV performance, ensuring flight safety, and supporting field operations and customer demonstrations across India.
Responsibilities
- Perform fixed-wing UAV test flights in Manual (Stabilize) and Autonomous modes.
- Execute flight test plans including:
- Endurance testing
- Range validation
- Altitude testing
- Payload validation
- Stability and control assessments
- Maintain pre-flight and post-flight checklists, flight logs, and test reports in compliance with DGCA norms.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report flight-related issues for continuous system improvement.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure strict adherence to flight safety procedures.
- Support UAV demonstrations, customer trials, and field validation activities.
- Coordinate with engineering teams during integration and flight testing.
- Travel across India for demonstrations, testing, and deployment activities.
Required Skills
- Experience in manual RC fixed-wing flying and emergency recovery handling.
- Understanding of UAV flight principles, aerodynamics, and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with telemetry systems and RC link configuration.
- Experience with VTOL fixed-wing UAVs.

Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) preferred.
- 0–2 years of RC fixed-wing flying experience.
- Freshers with strong RC flying skills and UAV enthusiasm can also apply.
