Position 1
- AI-Enabled LIG-Microfluidic Biosensing Platform for Early Detection of Livestock Diseases
- Develop a portable, AI-enabled, multi-modal biosensing platform for early detection of livestock diseases
Position 2
- Edible and Implantable Microbial Fuel Cells for Biomedical Sensing
- Develop and optimize food-based, biocompatible electrodes for miniaturized miniaturized MFCs and to assess the performance and feasibility of miniaturized MFCs for in vivo gut monitoring applications.
Fellowship
- ₹ 4,44,000 per annum during first two years in India.
- $28,000 per annum while in USA (as per TA/RA norms) with full tuition waiver and health insurance coverage.
- BITS Pilani or ISU will not bear the visa and travel cost to USA and back for the candidate.
Eligibility
- M.E./MTech/M.S. in Engineering with minimum of 80% aggregate or 8.0 CGPA (10-point scale) at both UG and PG levels.
- Selected candidate must clear a minimum cut-off in TOEFL/IELTS before moving to Iowa State University.
- Experience in related project area is a plus.
