About the Role
Taprath Elastomers LLP is looking for an experienced Twin Screw Extruder Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in polymer compounding operations, process optimization, and production management within the wire & cable compounds and masterbatch industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor Twin Screw Extruder machines efficiently.
- Process and manufacture compounds as per production specifications and quality standards.
- Handle production of ZHFR/LSZH, HFFR, XLPE, EBXL, PVC compounds, and masterbatches.
- Monitor process parameters such as temperature, screw speed, feed rates, and output.
- Ensure consistent product quality and maintain production records.
- Troubleshoot processing and machine-related issues.
- Coordinate with quality control and production teams for smooth operations.
- Follow safety, housekeeping, and standard operating procedures.
- Minimize wastage and optimize machine productivity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–8 years of experience operating Twin Screw Extruders.
- Strong knowledge of polymer compounding and extrusion processes.
- Experience in manufacturing Wire & Cable Compounds and Masterbatches.
- Understanding of raw material handling, formulation execution, and process controls.
- Ability to identify and resolve production issues independently.
- Knowledge of quality standards and manufacturing best practices.
