Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and normalize mechanical scope submissions from site disciplines and stakeholders.
  • Review and challenge proposed mechanical TAR scope from site stakeholders for necessity, timing, and value.
  • Facilitate structured risk-based scope challenge sessions with ISDAs, site, maintenance, inspection, operations, and reliability teams.
  • Assess likelihood and consequence of do nothing scenarios, including mitigated vs. unmitigated risk.
  • Identify deferral options, alternate mitigations, and lower-cost equivalent solutions.
  • Validate cost-benefit, ROI, and risk acceptance thresholds for scope inclusion/deferral.
  • Review equipment history, SAP notifications, inspection findings, RBI/RCM data, failure history, integrity reports, and prior TAR lessons learned.
  • Review and challenge eSCR / scope change requests ensuring proper risk evaluation and justification.
  • Prepare recommendation packs for include / defer / alternate decisions with supporting analytics and trade-offs.
  • Support Peer Review 2 inputs and self-verification checklist preparation.
  • Maintain auditable scope challenge logs, change logs, risk registers, and scoping dossiers.
  • Ensure inclusion of scope justification, scope solution, contingency requirements, material identification, and CBRA factors in every scope.
  • Prepare final scoping closeout reports and lessons learned.
  • Support KPI dashboards, weekly progress reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support document control, version management, and repository compliance.
  • Participate in RCA / corrective action reporting for rework cases.

Work Experience

Work Experience:

8–10 years in oil & gas/refinery/petrochemical turnaround, maintenance, inspection, reliability, planning, shutdown.

Strong understanding of RBI, mechanical integrity, corrosion, stand /rotating equipment maintenance.

Experience With SAP / ALIM / CMMS Systems Preferred
