Role Purpose

Ensure the end-to-end quality of the MWL Platform, with a specific focus on Gemstone

and VisualWorks applications, through comprehensive functional, integration,

regression, data, and non-functional testing. Drive quality engineering practices that

improve defect prevention, strengthen test coverage, and support reliable, scalable, and

stable platform capabilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 8-10 years of testing experience with strong expertise in technical
  
  

testing, integration testing, data validation, and regression testing.

• Hands-on experience testing enterprise platforms, legacy systems, workflow
  
  

solutions, and integrated financial services applications.

• Strong experience with API automation using Karate/Postman and UI automation
  
  

using Playwright.

• Experience with SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or equivalent databases.
  
  

Duties and Responsibilities

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/KRAs/KPIs

• Perform end-to-end manual and automated testing across MWL Platform
  
  

applications.

• Execute functional, regression, system integration, end-to-end, performance,
  
  

compatibility, reliability, and stability testing.

• Conduct testing gap analysis between requirements and existing solutions.
• Ensure user stories are testable with clearly defined acceptance criteria.
• Define and enforce quality standards during PI planning and sprint cycles.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and execution
  
  

reports.

• Build and maintain automation frameworks and reusable test assets.
• Execute and maintain automated regression suites.
• Implement API and UI automation solutions aligned with engineering standards.
• Validate integration points across internal, legacy, and external systems.
• Perform data integrity, reconciliation, and calculation testing.
• Validate investment, client, policy, product, and transactional data across systems.
• Use SQL and database tools for backend data validation and defect analysis.
• Participate actively in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and PI planning
  
  

sessions.

• Drive early defect detection and prevention practices.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to ensure
  
  

quality delivery.

• Demonstrate testing outcomes and solution quality to stakeholders.
• Promote collective ownership of quality across Agile squads.
• Continuously improve QA practices, automation strategy, and testing standards.
• Utilize AI-assisted testing practices including test case generation, defect
  
  

prediction, risk-based testing, and intelligent automation.

• Ensure governance, validation, and responsible use of AI-generated testing
  
  

artifacts
