nnnIntroduction
nnThe Electronics Assembly Operator III is responsible for performing repetitive intermediate-level assembly work on low-volume, high-mix assembly lines to mass produce transformers and inductors. Is responsible for being a reliable team member that can work independently within the team and meet our expectations of core values. This role maintains a clean and safe work area and follows standard work as trained.
nnKey Responsibilities
n- n
- Performs responsibilities of Electronics Assembler Operator I and Electronics Assembler Operator II. n
- Performs and provides expertise with advance assembly work involving heavy/fine wires, fine lams, and complex assemblies inside shells/housing. n
- Performs setup with different machines like stamping, banding, molding, and tape and reel. n
- IPC 610 and/or IPC 620 certified and able to perform higher-level inspections using 10x or higher magnification. n
- Operates and maintains complex winding machines. n
- Performs precision soldering utilizing a soldering iron. n
- Performs complex gluing processes. n
- Operates and maintains complex winding machines. n
- Performs transformer coil wire assembly. n
- Performs complex gluing processes. n
- Displays the highest level of quality standards. n
- Other duties as required and/or assigned. n
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
nCore Requirements

- Leads by example when relating to Core Values n
- Possesses basic understanding of problem solving and ability to identify and solve quality problems. n
- Possesses an advanced understanding of the principles of Lean Manufacturing. n
- Possesses an advanced understanding of the principles of visual workplace management n
- Able to read and understand production drawings and work instructions. n
- Able to work with chemicals. n
- Good manual dexterity/ability to work with wire sizes 10 to 46 American Wire Gauge (AWG). n
- Meets vision requirements specified by quality management system. n
- The position is on the production floor and could involve sitting for a long period of time, but not limited to standing, walking, and lifting throughout the day. n
- Lifting amount up to 25 pounds occasionally n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. n
Desireable Skills and Experience
n- n
- GED or High School Diploma preferred but not required. n
- Two or more years of employment with TT Electronics. n
- J-STD-001D Soldering Certified. n
- Soldering experience of one year is preferred. n
- Prior experience with assembly in manufacturing is preferred. n
- Inspection and trainer experience is preferred. n
