About the Role
Pinkvilla is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Trust & Safety Manager to ensure a safe, compliant, and high-quality user experience across the Pinkvilla App. This role will be responsible for content moderation, policy enforcement, risk mitigation, and building scalable systems to maintain platform integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage end-to-end content moderation across user-generated and editorial content on the app
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve community guidelines and safety policies
- Monitor and take action on inappropriate, harmful, or policy-violating content (e.g., abuse, misinformation, spam)
- Work closely with product, engineering, and content teams to build and optimize moderation tools and workflows
- Handle user reports, escalations, and grievance redressal in a timely and structured manner
- Identify potential platform risks and proactively implement preventive measures
- Ensure compliance with platform policies, legal regulations, and digital safety standards in India
- Analyze moderation trends and generate insights and reports to improve platform safety
- Train and manage moderation teams or external vendors, if applicable
- Stay updated on evolving trust & safety best practices, policies, and regulatory changes
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in Trust & Safety, Content Moderation, Risk, or Policy roles (preferably in digital/media platforms)
- Strong understanding of user-generated content ecosystems and platform abuse patterns
- Familiarity with Indian IT laws, intermediary guidelines, and content regulations
- Experience working with moderation tools, AI-assisted systems, or reporting dashboards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive content and escalations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

- Experience in entertainment, social media, or content-driven platforms
- Exposure to AI moderation tools or automation workflows
- Prior experience managing vendor moderation teams
