Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Engineer DSC & SC with extensive hands-on experience in Ericsson DSC (DRA/DEA/DA) products and strong knowledge of 5G Signaling Controllers (SCP/SEPP/BSF). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in telecom signaling protocols, cloud/virtualization platforms, NFVi deployments, and end-to-end integration of Ericsson signaling solutions. This role requires strong technical leadership, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration across global teams.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture :
- Translate customer requirements into detailed High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for Ericsson DSC (DRA/DEA/DA) in 4G networks and SC (SCP/SEPP/BSF) in 5G environments.
- Define comprehensive end-to-end solution architecture for signaling nodes aligned with Ericssons product portfolio and customer expectations.
- Conduct network impact analysis and prepare design documents, reports, topology diagrams, and alignment statements.
Deployment, Integration & Testing
- Lead deployment, configuration, and integration of DSC and SC nodes into customer networks.
- Prepare CIQ files, environment files, and all necessary configuration documents for successful implementation.
- Build, integrate, and validate NFVi/VNF-based solutions, ensuring complete readiness of the environment.
- Prepare and execute Integration & Acceptance Testing Plans (ATP) in accordance with SOW and customer requirements.
- Perform software upgrades, patches, and updates on live networks with minimal disruption.
Network Operations & Troubleshooting
- Work on ENM/OSS for provisioning, fault management, performance management, and analytics.
- Conduct integration and interoperability testing across 4G/5G signaling controllers.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis using Ericsson trace management tools and network analysis platforms.
- Work closely with Ericsson Global Support and partner teams to resolve complex issues efficiently.
Technical Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead System Integrator (SI) teams and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive escalations, manage customer crises, and ensure minimal downtime in live service environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and multi-country teams, demonstrating strong communication and cultural awareness.
- Act as a subject matter expert for DSC and SC technologies, providing mentorship and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with Ericsson DSC products:
DRA, DEA, DA
- Knowledge and experience with Ericsson SC nodes:
SCP, SEPP, BSF
- Deep understanding of telco signaling protocols :
Diameter, SS7, SCCP, SIP, TCP/IP, HTTP
- Excellent knowledge of IMS/VoLTE, EPC, 5G Core, and TLS/mTLS signaling flows.
- Experience with NFVi/VNF deployments, including creation and validation of environment files.
- Proficiency with virtualization and cloud platforms:
- CEE, CNIS, VMware, Red Hat OpenShift, KVM, OpenStack, Telco Cloud
