Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Truck Driver based in Chennai. The Truck Driver will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles to transport goods efficiently and safely. Daily tasks will include ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining and inspecting the truck for safety compliance, and helping with loading and unloading when necessary. The role may require adherence to company standards and compliance with all DOT regulations. While this is a primarily on-site role in Chennai, some tasks may allow for flexibility to work from home as necessary.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license and proven Truck Driving experience
• Ability to handle loading and unloading tasks efficiently
• Familiarity with DOT Regulations and knowledge of safety standards for trucks
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain logs, inspect vehicles, and report issues promptly
• Previous experience in logistics or transportation is an added advantage
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
