Job Summary:

We are seeking clear-speaking and patient-focused Triage Assistants to PHD team. The role involves working one-on-one with representatives at the client office to assist with call handling, information gathering, and appropriate triaging of patient or provider inquiries. Candidates must have a strong understanding of healthcare workflows and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a triage support resource for call center representatives at the client site

Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, providers, and internal teams

Gather, verify, and document patient or caller information accurately

Assist in triaging calls based on defined protocols and escalation guidelines

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA

Coordinate with client representatives to resolve inquiries efficiently

Maintain accurate call logs, notes, and follow-up actions

Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards

Required Qualifications:

Prior experience in a healthcare call center, triage, or patient support role

Strong knowledge of healthcare terminology, workflows, and call center operations

Excellent verbal communication skills with clear pronunciation and professional tone

Ability to work one-on-one with client-side representatives

Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and call management tools

Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in nursing assistance, medical assisting, or healthcare operations

Experience supporting US healthcare clients

Exposure to triage protocols or care coordination processes
