About the Role: NIIF Infrastructure Finance Limited is currently looking for a Treasury professional for a full-time position in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate should have experience in Fund raising preliminary from the capital markets. The role is a combination of debt fundraise plus debt investment banking plus debt capital markets and balance sheet management
Key Accountabilities:
- Excellent knowledge of domestic and global debt capital and loan markets and the regulatory aspects thereof
- Demonstrated in raising debt funds through issuance of ECB bonds, masala bonds and ECB loans from offshore markets.
- Strong relationships with investors including domestic and offshore banks, institutional investors, multilaterals, funds, FIIs, development funds, insurance companies, retiral funds
- Experience in domestic fund raising
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High professional integrity
- Performing all resource raising activities related to borrowings with focus on markets by way of bonds, ECB loans, ECB bonds, masala bonds, FII investments etc. from banks, development institutions, multi-lateral agencies, FIIs, etc.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with Banks, FIs, multi-lateral agencies, FIIs, underwriters and arrangers.
- Preparation of the resource raising budget including an appropriate mix from domestic and offshore markets taking into consideration risk appetite of potential investors/lenders, market conditions, cost effectiveness, time to market, regulations etc.
- Coordinate with rating agencies, legal counsel, arrangers/ underwriters, regulators, internal teams to facilitate the raising of funds
- Manage, monitor and optimize overall financing and transaction charges and interest cost for all fund-raising facilities.
- Ensure availability of long-term debt at competitive rates and at required timelines.
- Execute bond transactions according to authorized limits.
- Understanding and execution capabilities of PTCs
- Execute appropriate hedging transactions for all offshore borrowings and monitor and ensure that all hedges/swaps are conducted with approved counterparties within the established limits and as per extant RBI regulations.
- Work towards timely ratings of all instruments including annual / periodic surveillance and compliances.
- Monitor the overall debt of the Company and ensure lower effective cost of debt.
- Analyze interest rate risk and ensure asset and liability management by arranging the maturities of bonds/bank loan drawdowns to match the assets positions.
- Coordinate with internal teams for ensuring regulatory compliances
- Familiarity with Liability and ALM systems
- Knowledge of public issued bonds.
- Treasury Systems knowledge.
Qualification: MBA from Tier I/ Tier 2 college /CA/CS/ICWAI/CFA/FRM/CAIA
Experience: Min 6 years
Skills:
- Experience in issuing bonds through private placement and public issue
- Excellent understanding of debt capital markets and the regulatory aspects
- Building relationships with investors including HNIs, family offices, corporate treasuries, retirement benefit funds and institutional investors.
