Role Overview
Blockmaze, Finvasia's Web3 financial platform, is looking for an experienced Treasury and Global Accounts Manager to oversee the financial backbone of our tokenized asset ecosystem. This senior role demands deep expertise in treasury operations, payment management, and reconciliation between tokenized instruments and their underlying physical securities. The ideal candidate is a qualified CA professional with strong grounding in the brokerage industry, with India being the primary operating focus alongside exposure to EU markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee global treasury operations, including liquidity management, fund flows, and cash positioning across multiple currencies and jurisdictions.
- Manage the reconciliation of issued tokens against their corresponding physical stock holdings, ensuring accuracy and auditability at all times.
- Supervise payment management operations — including settlement cycles, wire transfers, and cross-border payment workflows relevant to brokerage transactions.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with banking partners, custodians, and payment service providers across India and the EU.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes; ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS).
- Design and implement treasury policies, internal controls, and risk mitigation strategies for currency exposure, counterparty risk, and liquidity risk.
- Coordinate with internal compliance and legal teams to ensure regulatory adherence in treasury and payment operations across India and EU jurisdictions.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing accounts and treasury team.
- Provide regular financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis to senior leadership.
- Drive process automation and efficiency improvements across treasury and reconciliation workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in treasury, global accounts, or financial operations — preferably within the brokerage or financial services industry.
- Proven experience reconciling tokenized or digital assets against physical securities or financial instruments.
- Strong command of payment management frameworks, banking operations, and settlement processes.
- Solid foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience managing treasury operations across India and EU regulatory environments.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of managing cross-functional or cross-border finance teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with fintech platforms, digital asset brokerages, or Web3-adjacent financial products.
- Familiarity with token economics, digital asset custody, and blockchain-based settlement mechanisms.
- Exposure to multi-currency treasury management and FX hedging strategies.
- Working knowledge of EU financial regulations (e.g., PSD2, EMIR) and SEBI/RBI guidelines.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and treasury management software.
