Job Description:
Treasury- Debt funds raising + end to end executions of documents
Banking Operations
- Debt funds from banks, and other financial institutions (India or overseas) through term loans, NCDs, commercial papers, and other instruments. Negotiations and closure on documents with the lenders.
- Debt Management: Track debt covenants, ensure timely interest payments, and maintain compliance with loan agreements.
- Bank Relationships, FX Management
- Automation and Process Improvement
- Regulatory Reporting- Ensure timely and accurate submission of RBI and other regulatory reports, including ALM, CRAR (Capital Adequacy), and other compliance documents.
- Risk Management- Assist in hedging strategies to mitigate interest rate, currency, and liquidity risks. Ensure adherence to internal risk policies.
- Internal Controls and audit support
- Understanding of legal covenants / funding documents and can negotiate and execute the documents
MIS and Reporting
- Cash and Liquidity Management- Assist in tracking daily cash positions and ensure efficient fund management across all accounts, ensuring NBFC has sufficient liquidity to meet loan disbursements, operational expenses, and investment needs.
- Short-term Investment and manage surplus funds through money market instruments such as commercial papers, certificates of deposit, and government securities.
- Manage the company's investment portfolio, ensuring adequate returns while mitigating risks in accordance with the investment strategy.
- Cash Flow Projections- Prepare detailed short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts, ensuring alignment with business needs such as loan disbursements, operational expenses, and investment outflows.
- Produce timely and accurate reports on liquidity, funding, debt, and investments for management and regulatory bodies.
- Other treasury activities, funding plans, treasury strategy and financial risk management.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Strong ability to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
- Communication and presentation Skills: should be able to represent company to the lenders in effective way
- Good Excel/ PPT skills
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to payables and cash management effectively.
- Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
- Start up experience will be better
Required Experience:
- Experience- 8 to10 years (Keeping flexibility for right candidate) years of experience in fundraising and executions, with a preference for experience in NBFC, banking, or financial services.
- CA (Chartered Accountant) or MBA
- 8 to 10 years of experience in finance and treasury
- Banking/NBFC relationships
- Working experience in NBFC/digital lending/fintech business
