What would you do You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.

Trade capture in middle office systems, allocation, transaction reporting & lifecycle management in middle office for derivative products.

What are we looking for Working knowledge of hedging related activities performed for assigned Client

Lead monthly book closure discussions with clients and resolve open issues.

Preparation of hedge accounting entries, including derivatives and hedging instruments.

Reconcile hedge-related accounts and ensure an accurate recording of gains, losses, and fair value adjustments

Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes related to hedge accounting.

Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Support SOX audits and governance reporting requirements.

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 9, US GAAP) and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with the treasury, risk management, and audit teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and accounting requirements

Assist in preparing disclosures related to hedge accounting for financial statements

Support internal controls and process improvements in hedge accounting activities

Perform Root Cause Analysis on issues faces and suggest appropriate corrective action for current remediation and future control

Derivatives Middle Office

SAP/ Oracle Experience

Experience working in a BPO environment or outsourcing setting

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of increasingly complex problems
  • Your day to day interactions are with peers within Accenture
  • You are likely to have some interaction with clients and/or Accenture management
  • You will be given minimal instruction on daily work/tasks and a moderate level of instruction on new assignments
  • Decisions that are made by you impact your own work and may impact the work of others
  • In this role you would be an individual contributor and/or oversee a small work effort and/or team
  • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
  • Must be able to propose process improvement ideas which can reduce time, improved accuracy or enhance controls

Basic understanding of hedge accounting standards (IFRS 9, US GAAP, etc.)

Familiarity with financial instruments, derivatives, and risk management concepts
