Treasury Analyst
A global bank standing up its India treasury operations centre
Location: Remote (India)
A global bank is standing up its India technology and operations centre, and has built a treasury desk inside it that manages a real cash position rather than a reporting mirror of one held somewhere else. The desk you'd join
As a Treasury Analyst, you sit close to the bank's actual cash and liquidity position, not once-a-month reporting on it, but the daily rhythm of knowing where money sits, where it needs to move, and what could go wrong with either.
What lands on your desk
- Prepare daily cash-position and liquidity forecasts across accounts and currencies
- Track drawdowns, investments, and short-term borrowing against limits
- Monitor FX exposure and support hedging decisions with the desk's traders
- Maintain and reconcile banking relationships, mandates, and signatory records
Where the rigour matters
- Support internal and regulatory reporting on liquidity and treasury positions
- Flag breaches or near-breaches against treasury policy before they become findings
- Keep documentation audit-ready for internal and external reviewers
What you'd bring
Two to six years in treasury, cash management, or a closely related corporate-finance function, ideally inside a bank or another regulated financial institution. You're precise with numbers under time pressure, comfortable owning a forecast that other desks rely on, and able to explain a cash position clearly to someone who was not in the room when it moved. Clear written and spoken English and comfort with a hybrid schedule that includes in-office days with the desk.

- Exposure to a treasury management system or SWIFT-based payment flows
- Progress toward a CA, CFA, or a relevant treasury certification
- Prior experience in a GCC or bank operations centre
