About Treasury
. The Treasury department is responsible for supervising the Bank's funding position and maintaining its regulatory
reserve requirements.
. It invests in sovereign and corporate debt instruments and engages in proprietary trading in equity and fixed
income securities, foreign exchange, currency futures and options.
. The division further governs the Bank's investments in commercial paper, mutual funds and floating rate
instruments as part of the management of short-term surplus liquidity. Moreover, it offers a wide range of treasury
products and services to corporate customers
About the Role:-
The Treasury & Markets - ALM (Investments) function manages the bank's investment portfolio to ensure liquidity,
regulatory compliance, and balanced risk-adjusted returns while aligning with overall balance sheet strategy. It focuses on
interest rate risk management, earnings stability, and tactical investment decisions, while providing market-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
. HQLA management by optimally investing (SLR Investments) in AFS and HTM Portfolio of the Bank. . Running the risk in AFS portfolio and generating profit. . Maintaining and ensuring that regulatory guidelines and investment policy of the Bank are being adhered. . To assist in maintaining regulatory SLR and LCR. . Analyzing markets, economy, liquidity and do projections. . Preparing notes and presentations for the ALCO and top management. . Assist the team in various other activities at ALM including CRR, FCY Balance Sheet and analytics.
Qualifications
MBA (Finance, Tier 1 institute preferable) , CA (preferably rank holders), CFA
Role Proficiencies:
Excellent understanding of markets, attention to detail, focus on perfection, sharp and self-motivated.
