Role Overview

The Domestic Travel Support Executive will be responsible for managing and coordinating all operational support related to domestic travel programs. The role involves working closely with internal teams, vendors, mentors, and logistics partners to ensure smooth execution of journeys across India.

This role requires strong coordination, problem-solving, and operational management skills to ensure a seamless travel experience for students and participants.

Key Responsibilities Travel Operations

  • Coordinate and manage domestic travel programs and journeys across India.
  • Ensure smooth execution of travel itineraries and operational plans.
  • Provide real-time operational support during journeys.

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Coordinate with hotels, transport vendors, activity partners, and local guides.
  • Negotiate rates and manage vendor relationships.
  • Ensure vendors meet safety and quality standards.

Journey Planning Support

  • Assist in planning travel routes, accommodations, and logistics.
  • Ensure all operational requirements are fulfilled before the journey begins.
  • Prepare travel documentation and operational checklists.

Mentor & Team Coordination

  • Coordinate with Journey Mentors and operations teams.
  • Provide necessary information, resources, and support before and during journeys.
  • Act as a point of contact for mentors during travel programs.

Crisis & Issue Management

  • Handle unexpected travel issues such as delays, cancellations, or emergencies.
  • Provide quick solutions to ensure minimal disruption.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain records of travel plans, vendors, and journey reports.
  • Track operational expenses and budgets.
  • Prepare post-journey reports and feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism / Hospitality / Business Administration.
  • 3–6 years of experience in travel operations, tour management, or logistics coordination.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple journeys and vendors simultaneously.
  • Good problem-solving and crisis management ability.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace / MS Office.
