Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Travel Specialist to join our team on-site at our Ahmedabad location. The Travel Specialist will be responsible for arranging travel plans, booking transportation and accommodations, and managing travel itineraries for clients. Daily tasks include providing excellent customer service, coordinating business travel needs, and ensuring a seamless travel experience for all clients. Collaboration with team members and effective communication are key aspects of this role.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Attend and respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and walk-in clients

Sell airline tickets (domestic & international) using GDS or airline portals

Handle hotel bookings and confirmations

Design, promote, and sell domestic and international holiday packages

Assist customers with visa documentation and application processes

Provide accurate travel information including fares, schedules, itineraries, and policies

Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings

Maintain customer records and booking details

Coordinate with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and visa agents

Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to business growth

Resolve customer issues professionally and ensure high satisfaction

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in a travel agency or similar role

Knowledge of airline ticketing, hotel booking systems, and tour packages

Familiarity with domestic and international travel destinations

Understanding of visa processes (tourist/business visas preferred)

Strong communication and sales skills

Customer-oriented attitude with problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and handle multiple bookings

Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, booking portals)

Experience Required

Minimum 13 years experience in a travel agency (preferred)

Freshers with travel & tourism certification may also apply
