Travel Sales Executive – International Holidays

Location: Kolkata

Work Mode: Full-time, work from office

Joining: Flexible, but latest by 3 August 2026

Compensation: Fixed salary + performance-based incentives

Probation: 3 months

About the Role

Duniya Safari is looking for a Travel Sales Executive to join our Kolkata office. The role is focused exclusively on international holiday packages. The selected candidate will speak to prospective clients, understand their travel requirements, prepare suitable itineraries and quotations, follow up with leads, and help convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.

This is a client-facing sales role suitable for candidates who are confident, polite, disciplined, comfortable speaking with clients, and willing to learn about international destinations and travel products.

Freshers may apply. Candidates with prior experience in travel sales will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle travel leads provided by the company.
  • Speak to clients over the phone, WhatsApp, email, and in person if they visit the office.
  • Understand client requirements, travel dates, budget, destination preferences, and family/group needs.
  • Prepare international holiday itineraries and quotations using the company's internal setup.
  • Follow up regularly with clients and work towards converting enquiries into bookings.
  • Coordinate with the reservation team for pricing, availability, booking confirmations, and other operational requirements.
  • Maintain client communication before and after booking.
  • Work on international destinations across Europe, the Middle East & Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
  • Update and maintain client details and lead status on the company's CRM. Training will be provided.
  • Meet monthly sales goals and contribute to the growth of the company.

Candidate Requirements
  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Freshers may apply; prior travel sales experience is preferred.
  • Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Good written English for client communication over WhatsApp and email.
  • Comfortable speaking to clients over the phone and taking regular follow-ups.
  • Confident, polite, persistent, disciplined, and client-friendly.
  • Fast learner with a genuine interest in international travel and destinations.
  • Must be based in Kolkata.
  • Must be willing to work full-time from the office.
This Role May Not Be Suitable For Candidates Who
  • Are not comfortable making client calls.
  • Have poor communication skills.
  • Cannot maintain regular follow-ups.
  • Are not punctual or disciplined.
  • Have frequent leave or attendance issues.
  • Are looking for remote or hybrid work.
Work Details
  • Office timing: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Weekly off: Sunday and alternate Saturday
  • Occasional urgent client coordination may be required outside office hours
  • Work location: Kolkata office
