Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer with strong hands-on experience in
React and modern JavaScript, along with the ability to work on
legacy jQuery-based systems. The role involves building high-performance, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces for travel and reservation platforms, including integrations with Air APIs.
This position requires someone who can effectively bridge
modern React-based development with existing
jQuery/UI frameworks, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop reusable, responsive UI components using React (v17/v18/v19), HTML5, and CSS3
- Consume and integrate RESTful APIs using Axios or Fetch
- Enhance UI interactivity using jQuery, jQuery UI, Select2, Owl Carousel, and related libraries
- Maintain, refactor, and enhance legacy jQuery-based modules
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to web standards
- Implement pixel-perfect UI based on design mockups (Figma / Adobe XD / Sketch)
- Optimize frontend performance and accessibility
- Collaborate closely with backend developers and UI/UX designers
Required Skills
- Strong experience with React (hooks, functional components, Context API)
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery (v3.3.1), and jQuery UI (v1.11.4)
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap 4.1.3)
- Familiarity with UI libraries such as Font Awesome, Select2, and Owl Carousel
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs on the frontend
- Proficiency with browser developer tools and debugging techniques
- Experience using Git and frontend build tools like Vite or Webpack
Must-Have Domain Experience
- Mandatory experience in Travel, Reservation Portals, or Air APIbased platforms
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js (SSR/CSR or hybrid rendering)
- Working knowledge of Node.js environments
- Familiarity with state management tools (Redux, Zustand, etc.)
- Experience with form libraries (Formik, React Hook Form)
- Basic understanding of SEO and accessibility standards (WCAG)
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
