Role Objective
To manage and optimize corporate travel operations across Choice Group entities, ensuring seamless execution, policy compliance, cost control, and efficient vendor coordination.
Core Responsibilities
A. Travel Operations
- End-to-end handling of flights, hotels, trains, and ground transport
- Manage urgent bookings, itinerary changes, and last-minute travel requirements
B. Policy Compliance
- Enforce adherence to internal travel policies
- Monitor and control deviations with proper approvals
C. Vendor Management
- Coordinate with travel agents, airlines, hotels, and aggregators
- Negotiate rates and ensure cost-effective bookings
- Maintain verified vendor database (GST, agreements, documentation)
D. Finance & Billing Coordination
- Track travel expenses and maintain documentation
- Coordinate with Accounts for invoice validation, GST compliance, and payments
- Support reimbursements and inter-company cost allocation
E. Issue Resolution
- Handle cancellations, refunds, and travel disruptions
- Act as SPOC for all employee travel-related queries
F. MIS & Cost Optimization
- Generate reports on travel spend, vendor utilization, and savings
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
G. Extended Scope
- Support admin/procurement activities linked to travel
- Take ownership of any travel-related operational requirements
Mandatory Skills (Screening Filters)
- Prior experience in corporate travel desk
- Hands-on booking experience (flights, hotels, logistics)
- Vendor coordination and negotiation exposure
- Basic understanding of GST, invoicing, and expense tracking
- Strong Excel skills (tracking, reconciliation, reporting)
Preferred Indicators
- Experience in high-volume corporate environment
- Exposure to multi-entity or group-level operations
- Ability to independently handle escalations and urgent scenarios
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline (Travel / Hospitality preferred)
