Job Propose of Travel Desk Executive
As a Travel Desk Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects
of corporate travel arrangements for our employees. You will ensure efficient
coordination of travel logistics, provide exceptional customer service, and
contribute to cost-effective travel solutions for the organization.
Job Description:
1)To do all travel bookings -travel tickets/hotels/local vehicles etc on time.
2) Manage end to end travel plans pan India and overseas efficiently and
cost-effectively – airlines, trains, transport, and hotels.
3) Negotiate on best rates through vendors every time there is a travel
occurrence.
4) To do all E-Visa, Visa, and Insurance on time.
5) Maintaining cordial relationship with the existing vendor and ensuring that
all agreements are renewed on time.
6) Ensuring that we are getting best prices on time.
7) Developing new vendors as and when required
8) Checking on the fact, if ever, we are required to change our existing
vendors.
9) Ensuring all approvals are in place before bookings.
10) Coordinate with new joiners and explaining them the travel process by
training arranged by Training department.
11) To ensure, after tour, reporting shall be done at MD's office.
12) Ensuring all compliance are duly completed by travelers before travelling.
13) Refund from vendors after cancellation of air tickets, train tickets etc.
14) Reducing budget as compared to the last year.
15) Reducing TAT of the existing processes, if possible
16) Any major cost saving in terms of money.
17) Birthday wishes to Family & Company/Group employees as and when required
18) Responsible of creating SPO, PO and PR on behalf of MD sir, as and when
required
19) Maintaining all documentations related to travel desk.
20) Forex related work shall be done on time
21) Comparison of fare quotes from different vendors
22) Training on travel policy and guidelines to all
23) Taking Miles/ Rewards on every travel through Airlines
Job SPECIFICATION & JOB REQUIREMENT
Bachelor's degree with minimum age of 26 years.Proven experience of
minimum 5 years in a similar role, preferably within a corporate
environment.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in travel booking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure.
Knowledge of travel regulations, visa requirements, and international travel
protocols is desirable.
Should have a go-getter attitude
