Job Title: Travel Desk Executive
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactiveTravel Desk Executiveto manage end-to-end travel arrangements for employees and guests. The ideal candidate should be proficient in using online travel booking platforms such asIRCTC, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, and other airline, hotel, and cab booking applications, ensuring cost-effective and timely travel solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle domestic (and international, if required) travel bookings includingair tickets, train tickets, hotels, and local transportation
- Book and manage train tickets usingIRCTC(Tatkal, Premium Tatkal, cancellations, refunds, rescheduling)
- Manage flight and hotel bookings through platforms likeMakeMyTrip, Goibibo, and similar portals
- Coordinate travel itineraries as per employee or management requirements
- Monitor travel costs and suggest economical options without compromising comfort
- Handle travel changes, cancellations, and emergency travel requests efficiently
- Maintain travel records, invoices, and booking confirmations
- Liaise with travel vendors, airlines, hotels, and cab service providers
- Ensure compliance with company travel policies
- Provide support during travel-related issues and emergencies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline
- Proficiency in IRCTC, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, and other online travel booking apps
- Good knowledge of airline, railway, and hotel booking procedures
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute travel requests
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and record-keeping
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Experience
- 13 years of experience in aTravel Desk, Admin, or Travel Coordination role
- Experience in corporate travel management preferred
