Job Summary
VASS Globe Tours & Travels is seeking a dynamic and motivated Travel Consultant / Sales Intern to join our Kozhikode branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales leads, assisting clients with comprehensive travel arrangements, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the tourism sector with a competitive incentive structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Outbound Calling: Perform outbound calls to prospective clients and follow up on inquiries to promote tour packages and services.
- Sales & Consulting: Advise clients on various travel destinations, domestic and international packages, and pricing options.
- Booking Management: Facilitate flight ticketing, hotel reservations, and assist with visa documentation and travel insurance.
- Itinerary Planning: Develop and present customized travel itineraries tailored to specific client needs and budgets.
- Client Relations: Professionally manage customer inquiries through phone, email, and in-person consultations to drive bookings.
- Office Support: Assist with daily administrative tasks and coordinate with the team to ensure smooth travel operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Linguistic Proficiency: Fluency in Malayalam and English is mandatory. Proficiency in Hindi is a significant advantage.
- Location: Candidates residing in nearby areas are preferred for ease of commute (Moozhikkal, Mayanad, Chevayoor, Koovoor, Velliparamba, Karanthoor, Kundamangalam, Chelavoor, Vellimadukunnu, or Chevarambalam).
- Skills: Strong verbal communication, persuasive tele-calling skills, basic computer literacy, and a results-oriented mindset.
Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly Stipend: 1,800 5,000 (Based on interview performance).
- Incentives: Attractive performance-linked incentives based on successful sales conversions.
