Job Description

Position Overview:

A travel consultant is responsible for assisting individuals and groups with planning, organizing, and booking travel arrangements. He/She provides expert advice, offer personalized recommendations, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable travel experience for his/her clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation: Connect with clients to understand their travel preferences, requirements, and budget. Assess their needs and provide recommendations for destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities based on their interests.
  • Itinerary Planning: Create customized travel itineraries, taking into account client preferences, time constraints, and budget limitations. Arrange flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and activities, ensuring all reservations are confirmed and accurate.
  • Destination Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest travel trends, destinations, attractions, and local customs. Provide clients with accurate and up-to-date information on travel advisories, safety precautions, and health recommendations related to their chosen destinations.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Promote travel packages, upgrades, and additional services to enhance clients travel experiences. Meet or exceed sales targets, drive repeat business, and generate referrals through exceptional service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a travel-related role or customer service position is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple client requests and bookings simultaneously.
  • Extensive knowledge of popular travel destinations, airlines, hotels, and travel regulations.
  • Problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges or issues during travel.
  • Sales-oriented mindset and ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

Salary:

  • Starting from 22k - 25k Per Month
  • Monthly incentives above the targets
