Role Description The Travel Consultant role at Akbar Travels Chengannur is a full-time, on-site position based in Kerala, India. The Travel Consultant will assist customers with domestic and international travel planning, including booking flights, buses, hotels, and holiday packages. This role involves providing clear travel advice, offering itinerary options, and ensuring accurate reservations and documentation support for visas, passports, and related services. The Travel Consultant will respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, process payments, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel regulations and partner offerings to provide high-quality, personalized service.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management to advise travelers and manage complete end-to-end journeys.
• Candidates should possess skills in Travel Arrangements and Reservations to handle bookings for flights, buses, hotels, and packages efficiently.
• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and resolve issues professionally.
• Relevant experience in a travel agency, airline, or hospitality environment is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer applications is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.
• Proficiency in English and local languages, with good verbal and written communication skills.
