Role Description
The Transportation Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of logistics and transportation operations at Honey Gold. This full-time, on-site role is based in Aligarh and will oversee fleet management, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and improve transportation efficiency. Daily tasks include scheduling and routing deliveries, supervising transportation staff, managing costs, and maintaining communication with customers to ensure seamless operations and satisfaction. Cross-functional collaboration with other departments to optimize the supply chain will also be a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Experience in Operations Management and Transportation Management to oversee logistics and ensure efficient processes.
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to maintain positive client relationships and resolve any transportation-related issues effectively.
- Knowledge of Fleet Management to coordinate vehicle maintenance, manage drivers, and optimize route plans.
- Detail-oriented organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in logistics software and data analysis for informed decision-making and performance improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Understanding of local and national transportation regulations is a plus.
