Transportation Engineer

CUBE invites applications from postgraduate Transportation Engineers of proven distinction to join its QA/QC and Design team. The ideal candidate shall bring demonstrated expertise in transportation engineering, pavement evaluation, quality assurance, and highway/airport infrastructure development, underpinned by sound technical judgment and professional rigour. The selected candidate shall be entrusted with safeguarding strict adherence to project specifications, quality benchmarks, and applicable statutory codes across the planning, execution, and inspection phases of the project lifecycle, thereby upholding the standards of excellence integral to the organisation's infrastructure delivery mandate

QUALIFICATION

Qualification. M.E. / M.Tech in Transportation Engineering. Experience. Preferably 5 to 15 years, with direct exposure to QA/QC of transportation, pavement and highway/airport infrastructure works. Technical Competencies Strong knowledge of transportation and pavement engineering principles. Working knowledge of IRC, MoRTH, AAI, BIS and other relevant standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Office and engineering documentation. Excellent analytical, communication and report-writing skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

Candidates shall support CUBE's PMC / TPQA / project leadership team in quality surveillance of transportation and pavement works, including: Reviewing transportation engineering designs, drawings, specifications and technical documents for compliance with project requirements. Monitoring and inspecting pavement, roadway and airport-related civil works to ensure adherence to approved specifications and quality standards. Conducting quality audits, site inspections and technical assessments at various stages of project execution. Verifying compliance with IRC, MoRTH, AAI, BIS and other applicable codes and standards. Identifying quality deviations and recommending corrective and preventive actions. Coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues. Preparing inspection reports, quality assurance documentation and management-level summaries. Supporting project teams in maintaining quality, safety and timely project delivery, and escalating critical technical or interface risks where required.
