About the Role:

We are seeking an experience Lead for Transport Management to lead and transform our multi-city transport operations. The role will focus on technology integration, cost optimization, and regulatory compliance, ensuring a superior transport experience for all employees across locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Transport Leadership:

  • Improve the overall transport experience aligned with business growth and employee satisfaction. Implement the long-term vision and strategy for employee transportation in alignment with organizational goals.

  • Drive sustainability initiatives, including the adoption of green commute options and reduction of carbon footprint.

  • Develop and maintain incident management protocols (accidents, vehicle breakdowns, strikes, etc.).

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily transportation operations, ensuring punctuality, safety, and service quality.

  • Design, optimize, and monitor routes and schedules for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

  • Establish and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all transportation activities.

Technology Enablement and Automation:

  • Implement and manage Transport Management Systems (TMS), GPS tracking solutions, route planning tools, and automate daily MIS reporting across all sites.

MIS Management:

  • Generate, analyze, and present detailed MIS reports for management reviews, vendor evaluations, and operational improvements.

  • Integration of dashboards designed to provide actionable insights for Management and Senior Leadership.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

  • Establish strong vendor relationships, monitor service-level agreements (SLAs), and coordinate effectively with leadership and support teams.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for local authorities and regulatory bodies.

Employee Experience

  • Monitor employee satisfaction with transportation services through surveys and feedback mechanisms.

  • Address escalations, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.

  • Communicate transportation policies, schedules, and changes transparently to all employees.

Innovation and Sustainability:

  • Expand sustainability efforts by setting measurable targets for carbon footprint reduction (e.g., transitioning to electric or hybrid fleets).

  • Collaborate with environmental teams or external partners to align transport operations with corporate sustainability goals.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience handling employee transport operations across large campuses and BPO environments.

  • Exposure to sustainable mobility programs (Electric Vehicles, Carbon Reduction Initiatives).

  • Willingness to travel across operational locations based on business needs.


Qualifications

Educational qualification:

Graduate Degree (any discipline) - mandatory.

  • Minimum12 yearsof experience in managing large-scale, complex transport operations in IT/ITES or multinational companies.

  • Proven expertise in multi-location operations, rental services, BPO transport management, and chauffeur management.

  • Deep knowledge of transport regulations, RTO compliance, audit procedures, and fleet safety norms.

  • Excellent technology skills (TMS, GPS, Routing Solutions, MIS Reporting).


  • Fluency inKannada, English, and Hindi(spoken and written) is mandatory.


  • Strong leadership, vendor negotiation, crisis handling, and stakeholder management skills
