Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a Transport Operations Executive (Fleet & MIS).
The individual will be responsible for managing end-to-end daily fleet operations, reporting, and compliance, including real-time monitoring of vehicles, fuel usage, maintenance coordination, and MIS reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring vehicle overspeed, idle time, and night running reports
- Managing GPS tracking, daily KM reports, and route performance
- Verifying fueling (Diesel/CNG) through CCTV and records
- Conducting daily CCTV camera checks across fleet
- Tracking vehicle documents and compliance validity
- Maintaining fuel data, IGL card reconciliation & logs
- Managing spare parts inventory, bills, and maintenance records
- Coordinating with mechanics, supervisors, and ground staff
- Handling breakdown reports and incident management
- Visiting schools weekly (2–3 visits) for coordination
- Monitoring petty cash, expenses, and vendor payments
- Maintaining tyre, service, and repair records
- Tracking staff overtime, petrol claims & operational data
- Managing daily MIS and monthly reporting systems
- Handling WhatsApp group updates and escalation management
Qualifications- Experience in Fleet Operations / Transport / Logistics (2–5 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of fleet management practices and ground operations
- Understanding of transport compliance and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical and MIS reporting skills (Excel mandatory)
- Experience in operations management and coordination
- Ability to handle real-time operational challenges
- Excellent communication, coordination, and time management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-ground environment
Additional Preference- Prior experience in school transport / bus operations
- Practical knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fuel systems, and vendor handling
