Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Transportation Coordination
  • Manage day‑to‑day scheduling of employee pickup and drop‑off.
  • Ensure adherence to transport routes, shifts, and timing.
  • Coordinate with drivers and vendors for vehicle allocation.
  • Helpdesk Support
  • Handle transport-related queries via phone, email, or ticketing system.
  • Resolve issues such as missed pickups, delays, or route changes.
  • Maintain a professional and customer‑friendly communication tone.
  • Monitoring & Tracking
  • Track vehicles using GPS or transport management systems.
  • Ensure real‑time monitoring of movements for employee safety.
  • Report any route deviations or incidents to supervisors.
  • Close the system security alerts.
  • Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure compliance with company transport policies.
  • Maintain records of driver documents, vehicle fitness, and compliance updates.
  • Assist in implementing safety protocols (night travel, escorts, emergency procedures).
  • Data & Reporting
  • Maintain trip logs, incident records, attendance sheets, and shift rosters.
  • Generate daily/weekly/monthly transport reports.
  • Update databases with new employee transport requests or changes.
  • Vendor Coordination
  • Liaise with transport vendors for vehicle availability, driver issues, and escalations.
  • Monitor vendor performance and report discrepancies.
  • Support contract and billing verification when required.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and customer‑handling skills.
  • Knowledge of transport management systems or GPS tracking tools.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, email communication, and reporting.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Graduate in any field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in transport operations or helpdesk roles.
  • Experience in corporate employee transport (advantage).
