Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating and managing transportation activities, including scheduling and dispatching vehicles, route planning, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with transport team members to monitor and track vehicle movement while ensuring compliance with regulations and delivery timelines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to transportation operations, including trip logs, vehicle maintenance records, and fuel consumption reports.
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to provide updates on delivery schedules and resolve queries or issues.
- Support in resolving transportation-related problems and emergencies by coordinating with relevant stakeholders promptly.
- Identify opportunities to optimize transportation processes, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Stay updated with transportation regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills in transport management and logistics operations.
