The Transmission Line Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of end-to-end activities related to the transmission line component of the project - right from conceptualization, planning, and statutory approvals to construction and final energization.
The incumbent will act as a key link between engineering design teams, procurement, construction contractors, statutory authorities (such as CTU/STU, DISCOMs, HSPCB, and local administration), and internal management. The role demands a strong understanding of technical, regulatory, and execution aspects of high-voltage transmission systems (minimum 132 kV and above).
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for driving project timelines, monitoring resource deployment, facilitating approvals, and mitigating risks associated with right-of-way, land acquisition, or interface coordination. The position requires balancing technical depth with stakeholder management to ensure that the project objectives - in terms of schedule, cost, safety, quality, and statutory compliance - are consistently achieved.
Key responsibilities include developing coordination plans, tracking milestone progress, resolving field-level bottlenecks, and ensuring alignment between all stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and internal project control teams. The Project Coordinator must also ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and environmental norms, while maintaining transparent communication with all concerned parties.
The role demands proactive engagement, meticulous planning, and hands-on coordination to translate engineering designs into operational infrastructure - ensuring that the transmission line is completed, tested, and commissioned in line with the overall project's delivery commitments (e.g., green hydrogen or renewable energy evacuation projects).
