Transmission Line Designer
- Proficient in the English language.
- Proven verbal and written communication.
- Knowledge of overhead transmission line construction methods is preferable
- Experience with various CADD tools like AutoCAD, MicroStation, Google Earth, Revit, Civil3D.
- The preparation of engineering drawings like Plan & Profile, permitting, assembly and structure framing/loading drawings, reports and designs to support engineers.
- Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.
- Picking up the markups as per the client requirement.
- Communicating with engineers and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
- Preparing, reviewing, and redrafting alongside the engineering team.
- Work independently but with some engineering guidance on complex projects
- Ensuring final designs are compliant with regulations.
- Identifying and communicating potential design/drafting problems to the rest of the team.
- Participate in technical meetings with clients.
- Ownership responsibility in the assigned work is required.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Diploma in Civil/Electrical with 1-10 years of experience OR ITI in Civil/Electrical with 3-10 years of experience as CADD designer.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Microsoft Office Suite and drafting AutoCAD.
