Job Title: Manager/ Sr Manager Transitions, Program Management Office (PMO), GCC

Shift Timings: 3:00 PM 12:00 Mid Night and should be willing to work from office

Clean Harbors India - Program Management Office (PMO) aims to provide extensive Process Excellence and Project Management expertise to Business and Operations. This is a multi-fold function with the objective of supporting Shared Services for Finance, HR Operations, E-Commerce, Sales and Customer Service and even IT Ops.

Transitions Manager is an Individual Contributor specialist role that requires collaborating with other team members to manage any/ all new Process onboarding to GCC by a Toll Gate Methodology called Transition Framework. Demonstrate a growth mind-set and work in a highly collaborated way to build Playbooks and drive due diligence during all the Phases of a Transition.

Responsibilities

Job Summary & Roles/ Responsibilities): We are looking for a Manager/ Sr Manager Transitions to join GCC PMO team and the candidate is expected to contribute to the following one/ multiple objectives of the function as per the business priority and be responsible for new Process onboarding and additional budgeted Head Count from a new Transitions perspective.

  • Strong understanding of Transition Framework (Toll Gate Methodology)
  • Ensure and demonstrate tremendous discipline in the transition planning and governance process as per Transition Framework
  • Hands on experience in the end-to-end Transition and Transformation cycle such as driving the process due diligence, planning & design of to be process, Transition execution, stabilization and transformation
  • Responsible for managing multiple Transitions in a multi-disciplinary Shared Services model
  • Responsible for providing strategic consulting around Transitions to ensure all transfer decisions are in line with the business strategy
  • Control the actions of KT (Knowledge Transfer), tracking, monitoring production (Guided production) and risk management and timely escalations at every stage of transition
  • End to end project management experience from planning, hiring, Training, IT set-up and volume-ramp up, 100% Go live and Business as Usual as per agreed timelines.
  • Prudent ways of identifying delays, fixing accountabilities and proactively communicating with all stakeholders to drive the execution plan.
  • Co-ordination and collaboration with stakeholders at various regions / service lines for identifying future opportunities for scope at GCC and ability to plan, coordinate, and execute process transitions.
  • The role also owns all aspects of Transition reporting across various stakeholders along with maintaining control of all transition related data, creating management reporting for consumption across levels and for driving the transitions forward
  • Maintain RACI and hold various stakeholders accountable and escalate delays in a timely manner. Also continuously find alternative ways of driving resolution than just tracking and escalating roadblocks
  • Business Acumen/ Growth mind-set/ Collaborative for Strategic Initiatives:
  • Visibility to medium-large-scale Strategic/ Change initiatives will be an added advantage
  • Ability to deep dive, perform detailed analysis, out of the box thinking and solution oriented

  • Partner with Technology in bringing in best in class solutions for new Transitions
  • Collaborate with Business and other stakeholders to improve pace of delivery and bring in effectiveness through digitization and adoption of transformative technologies
  • Self-management/ Inter-personal skills:
  • Self-motivation with ability to work both independently and be a part of a small team in fast-paced environment to drive issues through to completion
  • Ability to work with various functional teams at the GCC to track new process onboarding without leakage
  • Requires constant working with onsite stakeholders as well
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Self-driven, energetic personality with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Time Management/ Planning & Organization Skills:
  • Be well organized, strong planning and time management skills to drive projects/ initiatives to closure
  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to prioritize and work on multiple objectives at the same time
  • Strong management skills who can lead a Transitions Team in all aspects of Transitions
  • Documentation/ Stakeholder Communication & Governance:
  • Always maintain required stakeholder communication through various channels.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure completion of all required transition documents, training plans, SOP creation, Guided Production reporting, Toll Gate (Go-No Go) checklists and Go-Live with Ops handover.
  • Be a POC from Transitions for all stakeholders (Operations Managers / Team Leads / Process owners/ Onshore Businesses) and ensure seamless Transitions
  • Attention to detail with proven ability to communicate complex information in simple terms for leadership reporting
  • Meeting Management and Due Diligence Reporting experience
  • Follow Governance working principles of pre-brief, MOM and Action Log in 24-48 hrs.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex information in simple terms; be a positive influencer for adherence to Transition Methodology

Qualifications

Experience/ Academic background/ Skills required:

  • Minimum 10-12 years of experience in managing end-to-end Transitions with program planning and execution
  • Transition experience into Finance & Accounting, Sales, HR who has worked with multi-cultural environments, specially across USA/ Canada will be an added advantage
  • Education: Graduate/ Post Graduate (any field)
  • High Proficiency in driving Transition by Toll Gate Methodology
  • Project Management certification (Highly Preferred) such as PMP/ PRINCE2
  • High Proficiency in Documentation & Governance Reporting: BPM Tools (like Visio), MS Word/ Adv Excel/ PowerPoint, Power Bi etc.
  • Certified Six Sigma Professional (Desirable)
