The Transition Manager / Transition Lead is responsible for endtoend planning and execution of business process transitions from client/onshore locations to offshore or nearshore delivery centers. The role ensures seamless knowledge transfer, risk mitigation, service continuity, and successful stabilization into steadystate operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead endtoend transition lifecycle (Due Diligence GoLive Stabilization)
- Define transition strategy, roadmap, milestones, and governance
- Manage knowledge transfer (KT) plans, execution, certification, and signoffs
- Own transition risk register, mitigation actions, and escalations
- Coordinate stakeholders across client, onshore, offshore, IT, and operations
- Plan and manage resource rampup aligned to volumes and timelines
- Ensure process documentation (SOPs, DTPs, work instructions) readiness
- Drive golive and stabilization, ensuring minimal business disruption
- Handover smoothly to steadystate delivery teams
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong program / project management skills
- Proven experience in BPO / Shared Services / GCC transitions
- Domain knowledge of O2C / P2P / R2R / Finance & Operations (preferred) but not mandatory
- Expertise in risk management, KT governance, and stakeholder management
- Exposure to Lean, RCA, FMEA is an advantage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
- 1018+ years of experience in transitions, operations, or delivery excellence
- Experience managing multilocation, multistakeholder transitions
