Job Description

The Research Analyst / Transition Investing Analyst would be particularly responsible for:

  • Working on regular research publications and contributing to product development across areas such as Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), AI technologies, data centers, and other emerging topics
  • Writing research publications with limited supervision
  • Keeping track of latest developments in the companies under coverage and the sector
  • Conducting independent company-specific, economic, or trend analysis
  • Carrying out sector analysis, and coming up with investment themes/ideas
  • Creation and maintenance of databases using data from different sources
  • Responding to client inquiries with respect to designated coverage areas

Desired skillset:

  • Good understanding of financial markets, accounting standards and macroeconomic concepts
  • Good understanding of emerging themes shaping business strategy and the financial sector, including AI technologies, data centers, sustainability challenges, and evolving market trends
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • Fluent English (both written and spoken) with ability to draft research reports
  • Strong communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive approach, strong team player

Additional assets:.

  • Experience in working with databases such as Datastream, Eikon, Bloomberg, FactSet or Haver
  • Ability to implement automation and time-saving solutions to existing processes
  • Working towards industy licenses or designations (CFA, ESG certifications etc)
