We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in banking and financial services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects across business and technology teams. This role requires effective stakeholder management, strong delivery oversight, and the ability to drive projects in Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with business goals
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including business, technology, operations, and vendors
- Ensure timely delivery of projects within scope, budget, and quality standards
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, and drive mitigation strategies
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Track and report project progress, milestones, and KPIs to senior stakeholders
- Ensure alignment with regulatory, compliance, and internal governance requirements
- Drive change management and support business adoption of new solutions
- Manage stakeholder communication and expectations across all levels
- Oversee UAT planning, execution, and sign-off in coordination with business teams
- Required Skills & Experience Minimum 8 years of overall experience with at least 6 years in Project Management roles
- Experience in banking and/or financial services domain
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale or complex projects
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies
- Experience managing cross-functional and distributed teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong risk management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, or similar)
- Good to HaveExperience in digital transformation or system modernization initiatives
- Knowledge of banking products/processes (payments, lending, cards, core banking, etc.)
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum certifications (CSM, SAFe, etc.)
