Job Description

The Finance Transformation Lead is responsible for the end-to-end design, governance, and optimisation of both Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes across the organisation. The role drives enterprise-wide transformation by shaping future-state processes, enabling digital and automation initiatives, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver streamlined, well-controlled, and high-performing operations.

Description

  • Shape the long-term vision, strategy, androadmap for the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, ensuring alignment with broader business and corporate objectives.
  • Continuously evaluate, standardise, and redesign O2C and P2P processes to improve efficiency, controls, user experience, and business outcomes.
  • Act as the key decision-maker for process changes, enhancements, and technology deployments impacting O2C and P2P, working closely with Corporate Control and key business stakeholders.
  • Partner with Corporate Control and Internal Audit to embed robust internal controls, compliance requirements, and governance standards within process design.
  • Define and manage a standard set of performance metrics and KPIs to monitor process health, operational effectiveness, and value delivery across O2C and P2P.
  • Analyse performance data to identify root causes of inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and process gaps, and drive corrective actions.
  • Lead continuous improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives, leveraging technologies such as ERP enhancements, process mining, RPA, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Build trusted partnerships across Procurement, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, IT, Operations, Shared Services, and Business Units to secure alignment and sponsorship for transformation initiatives.
  • Work closely with GBS Service Delivery teams to oversee operational execution and provide subject-matter expertise on complex O2C and P2P process issues.
  • Drive change management and stakeholder engagement activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes, controls, and technologies across the organisation.

Profile

  • Degree in Accountancy with minimum 10 years of progressive experience across Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Shared Services, Business Process Management, Finance Operations or related functions
  • Proven knowledge of the retail industry with strong familiarity in upstream processes across Procurement, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, B2B, B2C, and omni-channel business models.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and delivering large-scale cross-functional business transformation initiatives
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies.
