Our client is a premier global asset manager with a reputation for excellence, innovation, and strong market presence. To support their expanding global footprint and ongoing digital transformation, they are seeking an experienced Operations Change Manager to lead transformation initiatives across their back-office ecosystems.
Position Overview
As the Operations Change Manager, you will bridge the gap between traditional back-office operations and cutting-edge business technology. You won't just be maintaining the status quo; you will be the driving force behind process optimization, system upgrades, and operational scaling.
This role is ideal for a process-driven professional who thrives on turning manual, fragmented workflows into automated, seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing back-office workflows (settlements, reconciliations, corporate actions, data management) to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable, automated solutions.
- Lead end-to-end operational change initiatives, including system implementations, upgrades, and migrations from initial scoping through to post-go-live support.
- Act as the primary liaison between back-office operational teams, IT/technology squads, vendors, and senior leadership to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensure all operational changes comply with global regulatory standards and internal risk frameworks, minimizing disruption to daily trading and settlement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within Asset Management, trading houses, or Investment Banking, with a strong foundation in back-office operations.
- Proven experience leading or heavily contributing to operational change, process improvement (Lean/Six Sigma frameworks are a plus), or system implementations.
- Familiarity with core asset management platforms, portfolio accounting systems, or reconciliation tools (e.g., Aladdin, Charles River, Broadridge, or similar).
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical adjustments into simple, operational concepts for business users.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Technology, or a related field.
