Tax-Analyst

Job Summary

As part of transfer pricing (TP) subject matter experts team, you operate independently to deliver results in the area of TP compliance and related support.

Main accountabilities

TP Compliance support

  • Prepares TP documentation and other TP compliance deliverables for ABB legal entities.
  • Supports Global TP Team in global TP projects such as local file template, master file, regional benchmarking studies or business TP documentation.
  • Support Global TP Team and/or country tax teams in other TP related projects and TP audits.
  • Supports Global TP Team in TP margin monitoring process - performs profitability analysis of ABB legal entities, provides clear recommendations and
  • Engages with country tax teams, local business and finance/accounting teams as well as external consultants.

Policy and process improvement

  • Maintain proper audit trail and documentation for future tax / internal / external audits and reviews
  • Maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all activities performed
  • Supports development and implementation of relevant standards, processes, policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of transfer pricing matters in own areas on responsibilities

Best Practice and knowledge sharing

  • Facilitates knowledge transfer, training activities and best practice sharing in the defined tax practice area

Knowledge and skill

  • Master's/bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field required
  • Good understanding of OECD Transfer Pricing guidelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IS knowledge (MS Office, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience on global databases (e.g., Orbis) for benchmarking studies

Experience

Minimum 4-6 years of global transfer pricing experience
