Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role for a Transcriber.

The Transcriber will be responsible for accurately converting audio or video recordings into English text, ensuring correct grammar, punctuation, context, and sentence structure.

Day-to-day responsibilities include listening to recordings, transcribing content, reviewing and editing transcripts for clarity and quality, and delivering work within defined timelines. Maintaining confidentiality and data integrity is a critical part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately transcribe audio or video content into English

Ensure correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting

Review and edit transcripts for clarity, context, and accuracy

Handle audio with varying accents, clarity, or background noise

Meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Maintain strict confidentiality of client data and recordings

Qualifications

Strong listening and comprehension skills

Excellent written English skills (grammar, punctuation, spelling)

High attention to detail and strong proofreading ability

Familiarity with transcription tools, typing, and word processing software

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Comfort working remotely and meeting deadlines consistently

Familiarity with industry-specific terminology is a plus

Prior transcription experience is preferred but not mandatory
