Introduction
We are looking for skilled translators and language experts proficient in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, or Malayalam to join our team. This role involves not just translation but also transcription review and correction. The project requires checking already transcribed data and making necessary corrections by adding missing words and using given tags to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and proofread transcribed text in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, or Malayalam.
- Correct errors in transcription and ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to language rules.
- Add missing words and apply the provided tags as per project guidelines.
- Ensure that the text maintains its original meaning while improving readability and clarity.
- Work with project managers and linguists to ensure quality and consistency across all reviewed content.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Native fluency in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, or Malayalam with excellent English comprehension.
- Prior experience in transcription, translation, or proofreading.
- Strong understanding of grammar, spelling, and linguistic nuances.
- Ability to apply tagging rules and correct missing or incorrect words as per project instructions.
- Detail-oriented approach with excellent analytical skills.
- Experience with transcription or CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in audio/video transcription and review.
- Familiarity with linguistic quality assurance processes.
