Job Title: Transaction Monitoring Analyst

Department/Function: Risk

Job Purpose:

The role of Transaction Monitoring Analyst plays a key role in identifying and investigating suspicious fund transfers across the bank. The role helps safeguard the bank against financial crime by generating insights, preparing Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs), and supporting AML strategies that align with our customer-first approach.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and investigate suspicious fund transfers across assigned business units.
  • Perform AML reviews and support independent investigations.
  • Aggregate data from multiple sources for comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Prepare and submit STRs with detailed summaries and insights.
  • Advise business units on AML-related risks and trends.
  • Identify financial trends that may pose risks to the bank.
  • Support development of AML strategies and risk processes.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of AML regulations and risk frameworks.

Educational Qualifications:

Graduation: Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) / Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Arts (BA) / Bachelor of Business & Insurance (BBI) / Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)

Post-Graduation: Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Commerce (M.com) / Master of Arts (MA)

Experience: 2 - 5 years of relevant experience
