Position:Senior Associate – Transaction Advisory
Location: Mumbai (on-site)
Walter Advisors is looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0-2 years experience to join our Transaction Advisory team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in capital market advisory, sell-side advisory, and buy-side advisory. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and attention to detail, along with the ability to manage complex transactions from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis and support transactions from start to finish.
- Coordinate due diligence processes, including financial and legal due diligence.
- Develop financial models and valuations to assess deal feasibility.
- Ensure accurate and complete financial reporting.
- Coordination and review of documentation related to M&A transactions and Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) for IPOs.
- Develop logical management adjustments to EBITDA to enhance sustainable EBITDA.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities through high-level due diligence.
- Identify funding options for transactions and assist with providing necessary information to secure financing for buy-side assignments.
- Prepare detailed financial models to assess deal valuation, IRR, payback period, debt metrics, future funding requirements, growth strategies, and synergy potentials.
- Facilitate timely statutory audit processes for M&A transactions and preparation of restated financial statements required for IPO.
- Evaluate and quantify synergy benefits, payback periods, and integration strategies.
- Assist in negotiation, deal structuring, and tax planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to manage transaction datarooms.
- Support post-transaction advisory and post-merger integration activities.
What We're Looking For
- Chartered Accountant (CA) (0-2 years post qualification) with experience in statutory audit, transaction advisory, or financial advisory.
- Experience handling clients with a turnover exceeding INR 200 crores in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong grasp of financial analysis and financial modeling techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
