Job Title: Voice & Accent Trainer
Location: Hyderabad (Uppal)
Industry: BPO / ITES
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Voice & Accent Trainer with experience in the BPO/ITES industry to enhance communication skills, neutralize accents, and improve overall spoken English proficiency of employees. The role involves designing and delivering training programs aligned with business requirements and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Voice & Accent training sessions for new hires and existing employees in a BPO environment
- Conduct needs analysis and assess trainees current communication levels
- Design customized training modules focusing on pronunciation, fluency, grammar, intonation, and listening skills
- Provide coaching on neutral accent, cultural sensitivity, and customer interaction skills
- Monitor and evaluate trainee progress through assessments, mock calls, and feedback sessions
- Collaborate with operations and quality teams to align training with process requirements
- Support floor teams with refresher training and performance improvement initiatives
- Maintain training reports, attendance, and performance metrics
- Stay updated with industry trends and continuously improve training methodologies
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline (preferably in English, Linguistics, or Communication)
- 3–6 years of experience as a Voice & Accent Trainer in the BPO/ITES industry
- Strong command over spoken and written English
- Excellent knowledge of phonetics, pronunciation, and accent neutralization techniques
- Proven experience in handling batches and delivering classroom/virtual training
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and coaching skills
Good to Have Skills:
- Certification in Voice & Accent training or Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programs
- Exposure to international processes (US/UK/Australia)
- Familiarity with call quality parameters and customer service standards
- Experience with e-learning tools and virtual training platforms
