The
Training Coordinator is a key role within the Digital Energy Training Academy team that ensure worldwide high-level technical training delivery on Digital Energy Products, Software and Systems.
Digital Energy Global Training Academy delivers on average 500 training sessions a year, which corresponds to 3000+ people trained. In addition, we have a large catalog of self-paced Training courses, available on My Learning Link (MLL).
Activities will center on training scheduling, training content management and connection with other entities.
The position reports to the
Enablement Manager for Digital Energy Training Academy.
Your Responsibilities
Training Scheduling
You will manage the master training calendar for the team of 10+ global trainers and a network of local trainers. This includes custom/ad-hoc, scheduled and launch training courses.
You will receive requests from several Schneider Electric stakeholders such as category managers, channel managers, country organization, execution centers, EcoXperts, Digital Energy line of business launch leaders, etc.
By leveraging the trainer capacity matrix and availability, and communicating with the stakeholders involved, you will provide the most suitable option.
Once scheduled, you will follow the End-to-End process, including invoicing to the requester entity.
Training content management
You will act as the project manager for our full basket of training materials (self-paced and instructor-led), ensuring all content is updated by the trainers responsible for it.
If new training materials need to be created, you will coordinate the project with all stakeholders to ensure the process and schedule are met.
Twice a year, you will update the Digital Energy training catalog according to the last changes.
You will serve as a backup to the My Learning Link admin to assist in content management when needed
Communication with other entities
You will have to maintain and develop our network of trainers. To do so, you'll have to identify subject matter experts and agree, with their line manager, on conditions & availabilities to deliver trainings.
You will be in contact with other training academies such as Power Manager University (US), EcoStruxure Power Academy (China), Field Service academy (global). Goal is to maximize synergies on Digital Energy trainings.
Coordinate the yearly tech talk series of webinars for the Digital Energy Training Academy working with global trainers and network of technical SMEs to put together relevant topics, schedule and communicate to the Digital Energy teams on the series.
Creation of a Quarterly Newsletter for the training Academy to communicate the latest updates on training events, what's new for materials, what is coming and any other relevant information to go out to our stakeholder community.
Required Skills
Expertise & experience:
- 3 to 5+ years business experience
- Bachelor's degree in management of information systems & digital or equivalent
- Expert in Microsoft 365 suite, solid skills in data management Excel, SharePoint.
- A project management certification will be added advantage.
Soft skills
- Good communication skills, enthusiastic and well organized. Positive attitude and be service oriented.
- Ability to interact with people from multiple backgrounds and cultures
- Work cross-functionally and manage day to day activities
- Possess the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners, using a Win/Win philosophy
Languages:
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
